For my very first blog I've decided to introduce myself and share a little about Wild Daisy Design.
Welcome to Wild Daisy and thanks for reading my first blog. I'm Nicole, wife, kiwi, animal lover, coffee drinker, chocoholic and owner of Wild Daisy Design.
Wild Daisy is a passionate, loyal, creative business with a big heart. I made the big decision to leave my full-time Graphic Design job and start my own business because I quite simply wasn't fulfilled any more. I felt trapped in the same old day-in, day-out work, I was hungry for more. I wanted to work with business owners who were passionate about growing their businesses and helping their customers.
Starting your own business is a super-exciting and slightly scary time, but it's sooo worth it! I absolutely love meeting and working with local business owners, their passion is contagious. Speaking to them about their business dreams and how I can help just lights me up and inspires me to keep doing what I do.
“Find what lights you up and do it every day.”
My passion for creating started when I was a kid and stuck with me through High School and University where I completed a Bachelor of Design with Honours. I can't imagine doing anything else, this is what I love. During my four year degree I learned all sorts of creative skills including graphic design, website design, photography, videography and animation. Whilst I love the variation, my biggest passion is branding. Helping a new or existing business create a strong visual identity is my dream job.
Wild Daisy Grows
During the past year, I decided that Wild Daisy needed to grow. I knew that a small team of creatives would bring greater results for my clients, after-all, five heads are better than one. I set about making friends with some of the best copywriters, photographers and videographers on the Sunshine Coast to sit alongside my skillset of graphic design, branding, web design and social media.
I love that we are now a one-stop-shop for all creative marketing, we're like your own personal in-house marketing team but without the price tag of five salaries!
If you're thinking about starting your own business or refreshing your existing business and would like to chat about anything at all, get in touch, I'm always up for a coffee.
